Boudica, also known as Boadicea (d. AD 60 or 61) was queen of the British Iceni tribe, a Celtic tribe who led an uprising against the occupying forces of the Roman Empire.
She's finished!! :-)
I am so very pleased with her. She stands all by herself and has the cutest freckles. The cuteness certainly does take away from her fierceness however!
I was a bit worried about making her to be honest as I was a bit nervous about how I could recreate a historical figure, but thanks to the internet and chatting to people about what they had learnt in school about Boadicea, I think I have managed to pull her together quite well.
The photos are not brilliant unfortunately as the heavens decided to open up here this afternoon meaning I couldn't photograph her outside. I will try to take some more tomorrow, weather permitting.
I am now concentrating on getting as much created for my upcoming craft show so will post as and when I can :)
Pixie hugs to you all xxx
