Last Weeks update

Hi all and welcome to a brand new shiny week :)

Stats for last week:
Dolls made - 4
Toadstools made - Far too many
Doll Passport designs - 3
Cups of coffee - Not enough!
It was a busy week!

This morning I have sent off anther gorgeous Ginny giraffe (a large one) to her new home.

 

The large Ginny Giraffes have now been listed in the pixie shop as a made to order item. 

The giveaway is drawn tomorrow with 5 prizes up for grabs.

Hello!

I have finally finished my next creation, Loni the Lion.

Loni is not a very brave lion and is rather timid but he is incredibly loving :)
Don't let his magnificent mane put you off!

He was a bit of a task as I had no idea how to loop stitch until starting him so it's a new stitch learned!

 

I love how he has turned out :) 

I shall be working on some more mini Lalys now for a few days and also starting another larger giraffe one. 

 

Rosie and Mini Dirk arrive at Pixie Hq

Hello all!

I finally managed to get out  and get some more sparkly pink wool which has allowed me to get my latest bunny finished.
This is Rosie Rabbit. She is cross stitched also (still takes me FOREVER to do )
The Lalys were all very excited to meet Rosie, esspecially Fly Toadstool who made her a very special strawberry cupcake to welcome her to the gang. I think he may have a soft spot for her <3

 

After all the excitement of a new Laly, we were then again surprised with a visit from Dirk Dragon's nephew, Mini Dirk! 

He has come for a visit but is hoping to find his new forever home soon. 

Both Lalys are now available at the pixie shop which can be found here <<

I have also started my range of watercolour paintings of the gang, the first of which is complete.

I have decided that I shall be creating a new range of passports that will encorporate the prints and will go with each Laly free of charge. I will also be offering the prints on their own if people wish to purchase them. 

 

Right, i'm off to create some more minis! :)

Teeny Giraffes :)

Hello all,

A new girly has joined the Laly crew over at pixie HQ today. A mini version of Ginny.
She has sparked up a really good friendship with Panda already... I think they may be mischief together :)
Lots more designs currently being worked on at the moment and I am also in the process of painting my lil cuties (on to paper.... not painting on them of course!)

My next creation is complete.
This is Ginny Giraffe. She is an adaptation on a Lalylala pattern which I changed slightly to turn into a giraffe.
Super cute ! <3

Lettuce Thistlethorn

Hi everyone :)

Busy day today. I have completed a giraffe, which I haven't made in a while! She turned out well I think, I was relieved as she was a requested order.

My second make of the day is another bunny, Lettuce Thistlethorn :)
She's not as Xmassy as yesterday's make but she is wrapped up for winter.

Next I shall be turning my hand to some little elves :)

Patches :)

Have been a busy bee over the past couple of days!

Yesterday I started designing my next doll, whilst pondering over the design I managed to whip up a next pouch for my medication :)

 

I probably should have ironed the material but it's only going to sit in my bag lol.

And then... I started a new giraffe which I managed to finish today. I have called him Patches ^.^

He'll be heading off to a craft show later in the month along with lots of other dolls. The giraffes seem to be very popular with people so I shall be creating lots more of them.

Anyhooo... hope you're all enjoying your week... back to the dolling! ;)

Weeeekendddddd!

Hello everyone, it may be grey and miserable outside (if you're in the UK) but it's the weekend so there's a reason to smile :)

I have just finished my second giraffe. She has no name as she has already been snapped up by someone who is a giraffe uber-fan... I thought it would be nice to let her name the giraffe herself ;)

I've had a lot of interest on the giraffes I've made so will probably be adding them to the list of things to make and sell. Think I will try a wacky patterned one next!

Xmas pixie is coming along nicely too with her super shiny red outfit. Last shift at normal work for me this evening before my days off, I shall then be trying to get as much dolling done as I can.
