Pixies and zombies....

Hi all! 

Popping past to share this weeks work. 

I finally finished the custom pixie I had been working on, this is Bebe. I'm chuffed with how she has turned out. 

Aaaand I managed to get Ted Mannwoking the zombie completed. He is now listed in my Etsy shop ☺️ 

This week I shall be creating a couple more zombies and cracking on with some Xmas bits. ☺️ xx

Hello!

This week I have finally managed to complete my lil coven of witches as well as starting a group of zombies.
Rabbits have also been created!

Let me introduce you to the witches who are now up for sale in my Etsy shop...

This is Arabella Wormbottler, the Pumpkin Witch.
She puts slugs in the blender and turns them into a drink and she likes to squirm around your garden! She could do with a good bath!

This is Hilda Mousecruncher.
She crunches bones for breakfast and she likes to steal from your cupboards! She has breath that could knock a human out!

This is Beatrix Slugroaster
She roasts rats for dinner and she likes to cough all over your hair! She is as slimy as a snail!

This is Eileen Waspgnasher.
She is always gnashing and wailing and she likes to poke you with knitting needles when you're not looking. She is often covered in dirt.

This is Stella the keepsake doll.

She has a little tartan skirt, fishnet tights and huge black boots ^.^

Sway

I have been working hard on a custom doll for the past few days.

This is Sway :)

Sway (the girl) had a special dress made for her birthday by a wonderful company called Fit for a princess. 

Mum sent me a message requesting a pixie with a matching dress :)

This is the result!

I am so happy with how she turned out :)

Hello everyone :) 

This past week I have been painting more rocks, experimenting with clay, making rabbits from babygros and created a new keepsake doll with a difference! 

This is my latest rock which I painted for a friend who is barmy on A nightmare before Xmas. But different to the usual pixie houses but I enjoyed creating it.

This is my baby gro bunny made for someone who wanted something creating from her daughters clothing as a memory keepsake. The material was a nightmare to work with but I am so happy with how it turned out :) 

My experiments with clay resulted in two teeny tiny pixie houses which I have hung from one of my indoor plants. Still in the beginning phase but I shall perhaps think about creating some as Xmas tree trinkets. 

And finally, my little Mandy dreadlock keepsake. Made for a friend of mine who is a dreadlock hairdresser. She absolutely loved her and has decided to make her the company mascot :) 

The hair was synthetic curly dolls hair which I twisted with hair wax to create the dreadlocked look. Super cute! :)

Hi everyone,

It's been a quite couple of weeks from me due to various health problems (again!) so I have decided to bombard you all this evening with what I have been up to I between several hospital visits.

I've had happy customer pics sent thanks to the new pixie stones which I have now decided I will start selling. 

There has been 2 new pixies created, the first being Agnes, the ballet dancing, clarinet playing pixie...she's multi-talented.

 

And this is Martha, the perfectly turquoise winged pixie :)

And finally a new dragon which is almost complete!! 

As you can see, I have been trying to keep myself busy!!

New obsession?!!

Following on from yesterday's therapeutic painting on rocks, today I continued painting some more, including a post office :)

Hi everyone,

Have stayed away from sewing for a couple of days and yet still couldn't just sit and do nothing.

Out came the paints and a bag of pebbles I had sat in the shed.

I have started painting lil pixie houses which I have dotted about my garden for my niece and nephew to explore. They love anything fantasy related so it will keep them entertained for a while, hunting the pixie houses hee hee.

I just used acrylic paints and then coated them with a thin layer of glossy mod podge to seal them, although I would imagine any sealant would work (varnish etc)

Ta Dah!!! Secret lil pixie village which brightens up the garden too! :)

Hello everyone! 

It's been a busy few days with lots of requests being worked on in between normal working and trying to get used to new chemotherapy medication. 

Anyway, today I finally managed to get my lil graduation doll completed. 

This is a request doll and she has been made in the colours of the university which the receiver is graduating from :) 

Mortar boards, I have decided, are not very easy to make!! 

Poppy

Hello! 

Apologies for the quiet spell. I have been back at my normal job.

Today I managed to complete a requested doll. 

Her name is Poppy the lamb. 

I've fallen in love with her <3 

I hope her new owner loves her just as much!

I'm now working on some snails which will be going up for sale for charity and 2 lil pixies. :-D

Dragons!

I have had a couple of rough days health wise so not much had occured on the dolling front. I have started 2 new dolls, one of which will be heading off to a charity auction.

This is what I have done so far with the dolls :) They're both a bit flowery, one on left is for charity, right will be a woodland girly :)

 

So as I have been poorly sick, I have been snuggled up on the sofa and decided to make another dragon. 

This is Saphira and she is a gift for my Nephew who asked his Aunty Amy to make him one :) 

She's certainly bright!! <3

Hello all!
Just popping past to share my latest doll, Glinda with you all.
She's another pixie witch, made in preperation for Halloween.

I shall be making a special pixie over the next couple of days which will be winging her way off to a fundraising event for Macmillan. I shall post pics before she leaves though :)

Halloween is coming!

I'm struggling with the thought we're in September already! Where has this year gone!?!

Anyway, this means that I am now well in Halloween mode and dare I say, I'm even thinking about Xmas pixies! 

Another witchy pixie is underway. She will be dressed in this material...

So she's certainly going to stand out! 

Things have slowed down a bit here due to still feeling a bit under the weather and an impending move of house coming up along with work and the general day to day stuff that needs doing. It's a busy life being a pixie creator!

This is Tabitha the pixie witch :) I loved making her. Thought I would get a head start on the Halloween celebrations :) 

She's sat on a beanbag style pumpkin which I made from felt. Thought it would suit her better than a toadstool.

Madness update :)

Ello lovelies!

Thought i'd give you a quick update on how Mad Hatter is getting on.
I'm back on shift at the day job so things are a bit slow for a couple more days but doing bits as and when I can.
:)
We have a jacket and tie. The hat still needs finishing and then attaching to the head. Legs are on and awaiting trousers.

Mad Hatters R Us

Urgh...hats are so difficult to make! 

I've almost managed to finish the hat though thank goodness! 

The head is pretty much complete and ready to go on to the body which as yet I have not decided whether it will be male or female...decisions decisions! 

I started out with the idea of a female bad hatter but now the head is done, I'm thinking it looks more like a he! 

Oh the problems of a doll maker lol :) 

Not a brilliant pic but will post more when there's more to post :) 

Emily the Corpse Bride :)

She's finished and I have fallen in love with her...so much so i'm not sure whether I can let her go!! hehe

I am really happy with how she came out and she was such a pleasure to make.

Quick Update :)

Thought i'd give you all a quick update on my Corpse Bridesque doll.
She's coming along nicely. Found some antique looking lace at the charity shop near me for 50p...result!
I have just pinned her clothes in this pic to get an idea of what I will probably do. This may change though :)
I went with woollen hair this time instead of the lambs wool. Thought it suited her a bit better.

Off to take pooches for a walk now. Got to get out the house as it's currently driving me crazy!
Doesn't help that the doctor has signed me off work for another week! Meh :-s
